Mark Barninger (East/West Hanover Township, PA) – We praise the Lord for a successful time at the West Hanover Township Festival. We handed out the Ultimate Questions pamphlet by John Blanchard, church information, and complementary water with our name, colors and website proudly displayed. A number of us had many opportunities to interact with our neighbors.
Neil and Lisa Christensen (Aquila & Priscilla, South Allentown) – Praise the Lord for a wonderful picnic at Victory Valley Camp this past Sunday when Cedar Crest BFC extended an invitation to Lighthouse to join them for this annual event. Pray that the recent new and returning visitors will call Lighthouse their church home, as the Lord leads, and that the children who have been visiting with us on their own will be joined next Sunday by their parents. Lastly, please pray for clear direction for Lisa regarding her back and surgery decision the end of September.
Mark Morrison (Assistant Director) – Praise the Lord for a new family that came this Sunday looking for a home church. Pray for another family that plans to begin coming this next Sunday. Pray also for individuals and their families that are experiencing some severe trials.
Elliot Ramos (South Allentown, PA) – Praise the Lord for the opportunity to share the Gospel with Kelvin and Karen, who works with Damaris. It is obvious that the Holy Spirit is working in their lives. Please help us pray for their salvation. Also, help us pray for our Light in the Park Reunion on Sunday from 11am-4pm.
David Smith (Harrisburg, PA) – Please pray for us we continue to seek a location in our target area. We have a possibility but are not sure if we can negotiate a price we can afford.
Aaron Susek (Adams County, PA) – Starting September 12th, we'll be coordinating most of our ministries around a nine-month journey through the Bible. Please pray that the people at church would encourage one another to faithfully be a part of this program. Pray also for two of our neighbors (M and J) we’re hoping will join in through our home group.
Dan Williams (Woodbury Heights, NJ) – We are grateful for God’s continued blessing at New Beginnings. Please pray for the upcoming Woodbury Heights Anniversary Day outreach event where we will be providing free home-baked cookies, and offering prayer and literature to town residents. There are several families and individuals who will be going through “committed participant” classes in September. Pray for our facilities task force as they work through many details with our borough in order to expand our lease agreement in our current building. Lastly, we will be finishing our summer series “Adventures in Acts” this coming Sunday.
